Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information OneLoveDomino ("we", "us", "our") collects when you create an account and play, how we use it, and what happens to it if you delete your account. By using OneLoveDomino, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Information we collect
- Account information — your username, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Gameplay data — your match history, wins, losses, scores, and other statistics generated as you play. Completed games record the usernames of everyone at the table, since a match's outcome is shared history between all of its players.
- Session & authentication data — sign-in tokens stored as cookies in your browser, used to keep you signed in and to verify requests you make to our servers.
- Technical data — basic diagnostic information (such as error reports) generated automatically if something goes wrong, which helps us find and fix bugs.
- Ad data — whether we offered you an ad, whether it was shown, and when you last saw one. We use this to limit how often you see ads.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, and to keep you signed in between visits.
- To run matchmaking, gameplay, and the leaderboard/history features you see in the app.
- To send you account-related emails — verifying your address, confirming an email change, and password resets.
- To detect, investigate, and fix bugs or abuse of the platform.
- To decide when to show you an ad and to limit how often you see one. For example, we don't show ads in your first few games, and we space them out.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never give advertisers your username, email address, or game history.
Cookies
Our own cookies are only the ones the app needs to work: they keep you signed in and authenticate your requests. We don't use them to track you across other websites.
Our advertising partner, Google, may also set cookies or use similar technologies when it shows you an ad. See "Advertising" below.
Advertising
OneLoveDomino is free to play and is supported by ads. You may see a short ad between rounds or after a game. We decide when an ad can appear. The ads themselves are provided by Google.
- Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits.
- Google collects information such as your device, browser, approximate location, and how you interact with ads. Google, not OneLoveDomino, handles this information, under Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's ad settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. If you opt out, you'll still see ads, but they'll be less tailored to you.
- In regions where the law requires it, such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used.
Sharing your information
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run OneLoveDomino, and only as needed to provide the service:
- An email delivery provider, to send account-related emails (verification, password reset, email change confirmation).
- An error-monitoring service, to help us detect and fix bugs.
- Our advertising partner, Google, which shows ads in the app. It receives the device and browser information described under "Advertising", not your account details.
- Other players, in the limited sense that your username, and the outcome of games you play, are visible to the people you play with and on public features like the leaderboard.
Data retention & account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. When you do:
- Deleted immediately — your account record (username, email, password), any friend connections, and your active sign-in sessions, which are revoked right away.
- Retained — the history of completed games you played in, and the leaderboard stats derived from them. These are kept because they're shared history belonging to the match as a whole, not to any one player — removing them would erase other players' own records of games they played. This history is tied to your username, but is no longer linked to a live, sign-in-able account once it's deleted.
Data security
Passwords are never stored in plain text — they're hashed before being saved. Sign-in tokens are short-lived and can be revoked (for example, by signing out or deleting your account). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children's privacy
OneLoveDomino is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ads in the app are not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Your rights & contact
You can review and update your account information (username, email, password) from your Profile page at any time, or request deletion of your account there. If you have questions about this policy or how your information is handled, contact us at privacy@mail.onelovedomino.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
